Well as some of you know, the Rolex 24 was on over the weekend in Daytona. I had the privilege to actually go to it. It was an amazing time and I definitely suggest everyone to go see a Rolex/Grand-AM series race before they die. The start of the race was rainy so I didn't get many pictures from the start, but here are a few throughout the weekend.
Telemex team hurrying to get the car ready before the race began. This was probably taken about 2-3 hours before the race was scheduled to start.
One of the mazada teams doing the same.
Debuet of the Camaro, which actually did very well.
F430, which does and did a terrible job at the Rolex series.
GXP, and yes, the guy said he would pose for the pic
One of the handful of Porsche teams trying to fix and get the car back on the track. This was about ~6 hours into the race.
Heres the same team.
The same GXP that was pictured earlier, note the grass on the tires.
Like I said, the F430 failing.
Oh hey, the vette team doing the same.
We got bored at our condo, so we went back to the track at about 2:30
Porsche GT3 in the horseshoe infield area
Vette
RX-8
The winning DP Porsche
The other vette team
GTO-R crashed
These were taken right after the race ended, like, literally.
Miami University GT3
No hood Camaro
The other end of the Camaro
DP pulling into the garage
This is the winning DP team. I actually made it into the winners circle but then I was kicked out because I wasn't media. I was literally standing on one of the teams 4-wheeler, shooting through a fence trying to get some pictures of the team. These were the only two that actually came out decent.
RX-8 beat up after the race.
McDreamy's RX-8, sadly, he did finish the race and did quite well.
Pano of the track.
